Hello! Happy Monday. Hope everyone had a good weekend! I asked my favorite graphics girl Kari of sugarB studio to design a cute post for me this week! She is always up to something cute and clever. {She designs lovely custom suites for my brides}. It’s a fun time of year to treat yourself to pretty pens, bright paper and fun stickers.

I always recommend something simple, that you are used to writing with. My favorite pens are always inexpensive ones you can pick up at your local drug store.

Happy Friday!
Here is a little peek of what’s ahead for next week!
Last Tuesday I had not one, but two photo shoots. One for CS Brides and the other for The Everygirl. I had slept for about 5 hours the night before as I was up packing props, steaming the linens and catching up on work. I was mortified when Danielle said she wanted my picture for the shoot. I did not have an ounce of make-up on, or on me.
Lucky for me, my friend Donna at The Ivy Room was on hand with her bag of tricks. She dumped out a load of fun products and did her magic while she shared with me stories of her experience on the set of Friends and make-up tips from the masters on set!
I loved how I looked and asked her for a list of all of the goods. So many of my favorites were simple drug store brands. So… I went shopping, marveling at how inexpensive, fun and pretty it all is! Here are a few of my favorite drug- store staples from Donna and other beauty savvy girls!
As an East Coast girl form the Annapolis/ DC Area, I have spent my fair share of time at some magnificent and charming shore towns. I adore Spring Lake and Avalon NJ, The Hampton’s ( even West), and St. Michael’s and the Maryland and Delaware Shore.
Here in Chicago, lots of people talk about their equally fantastic Lake houses on the Michigan and Wisconsin shores. I am still skeptical… But for Two Cities Tuesday… lets decorate and stock our dream house for the shore.
Lake or Sea.. let’s make it cute and fun as can be… Where do you go for the summer? What is your favorite Summer town?

Today they announced that the week May 7th will be a series of very special features for Wedding Week ! I am thrilled to be part of one of their brilliant bridal features and wanted to share the inspiration board for my shoot with you all today.
We had our shoot yesterday afternoon with the super talented ladies of Hello Darling at one of Chicago’s most gorgeous city venues, The Ivy Room. Danielle was there to capture the beauty in the sparkly sunlight with her Canon and we all left with the joy and excitement that an amazing collaboration brings.
